About us
Raíz Octagonal was created in tribute to Juan Hower Moreano, a native of Apurímac who arrived in the city of Ica in 1995 and left fond memories in the hearts of his friends and family thanks to his hospitality, generosity, empathy, and culinary skills. In his later years, he began building a beautiful house with innovative architecture with the aim of promoting social and family gatherings, a project he was unable to complete.
Since 2024, his children have returned to our roots in the city of Ica and actively resumed this project, with the mission of providing our customers with a unique gastronomic experience in a cozy space steeped in history, where every corner hides the joy of diners from yesteryear.
Our plates
Our carefully crafted menu features five-course meals based on regional dishes with a gourmet twist. Dishes made with ingredients sourced from the Ica Valley, lovingly prepared by our chef, who has been involved in the gastronomic development of restaurants in Peru and Chile since 2017.
